TRAINING

Advances in sports training have made competition tougher than ever. At Peak the athlete receives a customized, well-rounded program that focuses on safety, foundational strength and speed principles, nutrition and position-specific technique. In addition, we focus on increasing sport-specific "IQ" by teaching principles and concepts in the classroom and in film review. At Peak we'll give the athlete the tools they need to perform at the highest level.

FOOTBALL TRAINING

Assessment and Individualized Plan

Regardless of position, at Peak we start with a detailed assessment of each student athlete. This includes foundational athletic skills, strength, position-specific technique and football IQ. From there we build an individualized training program that addresses key needs and builds athletic confidence through progression. At Peak we believe that each athlete is unique and as a result, each athlete's program should be customized to those unique needs.

Quarterback University

At the Peak QB University we teach the full scope of quarterback skills development. From footwork, to mechanics, to learning how to review film, we give the athlete the foundation to succeed on the field. We offer both in-season and off-season programs. The in-season program complements the athletes schedule and we work with the head coach to support development.

The Enforcers (Offensive Line)

Offensive line play in the modern, pass heavy offense is more critical than ever. At Peak we emphasize fundamentals and technique, to include footwork and foot speed, leg strength and hip flexibility, hand speed / placement and leverage. Both run and pass techniques are combined to increase performance.

Stallions (Running Back)

With the resurgence of the running back position we teach running backs to be the every down back on the field. At peak we train on position fundamentals, to include foot work, ball position, running between the tackles and success in the pass game, which includes pass blocking.

Playmakers (Wide Receiver)

The modern pass first offense requires a high performance wide receiver corps. At Peak we train the athlete in route running, beating press coverage and reading defense coverages, both pre-snap and during the play. We train for improved catching ability and foundational foot speed and quickness.

The Separators (Linebackers)

The Peak Separators program is a cutting-edge linebacker development program tailored to the modern game. We emphasize the fundamentals of body position, lateral movement, block shedding and getting into pass drops. We teach linebackers to "see the game" through run/pass queues and learn how to diagnose the modern day offense.

Dominant Force (Defensive Line)

At Peak we train defensive lineman to be the dominant force on the field and to control the line of scrimmage. It all starts with training explosiveness, leverage and hand work techniques (slap and rip) to win one-on-one matchups. We expand to HAT / GAP control techniques and reading offensive keys. The program relies on a foundation of strength and foot speed.

Game Changer (Tight End/H-Back)

The spread offense has changed the tight end / H-back position to one of critical importance. At Peak we teach all the foundations of blocking in the run and pass game while emphasizing route running and catching ability. A special emphasis on red-zone routes, reading defenses and body position is provided.

Kicking College

The Peak Kicking College is a comprehensive program for punters and kickers (both field goal and kick off specialists). A heavy emphasis on mechanics and technique trained through video assessments and on field coaching. Our coaches will develop both pure leg strength and positional / placement kicking.

Defensive Back - (COMING SOON)

Peak will soon be adding a program for defensive backs. This program will include coverage technique, route recognition, ball skill development and reading offensive keys.
